Privacy and personal data protection policy

Pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of personal data (the GDPR), this policy (hereinafter “the Policy”) sets out how E-DKADO SARL (owner of the SNIPE brand and the snipe-sport.fr domain), whose registered office is at 445 rue Lavoisier – 38330 Montbonnot Saint Martin, processes the personal information of its users.

The data controller is Jérémy GUY, who guarantees that your privacy is respected.

The purpose of this Policy is to explain clearly how E-dkado collects, uses, stores and secures your personal data (hereinafter “the Data”) when you use the site www.snipe-pro.fr (hereinafter “the Site”).

As data protection legislation evolves, this Policy may be amended. Users will be informed by email whenever it is updated.

Should any clause be declared invalid or contrary to the regulations in force, it will be treated as null and void without affecting the validity of the other provisions.

Data collected

Depending on how you interact with E-dkado (browsing, creating an account, ordering, signing up to the newsletter, exchanges by email or telephone), various categories of data may be collected:

Identity and contact details : surname, first name, postal address, telephone, email address.
Connection and browsing : IP address, browser type, pages visited, connection time, operating system, language.
Orders and transactions : delivery and billing address, bank or PayPal details.
Exchanges and reviews : messages sent through the forms, telephone calls, comments.
Use of social networks when the corresponding features are enabled.

How data is collected

Data may be collected in two ways:

Directly : through the forms (account creation, order, contact), by email or by telephone.
Indirectly : through cookies and trackers as you browse. A specific cookie policy sets out how they work and how they are used.

Purposes of processing

The data collected is used for:

Process your orders and handle the contractual follow-up.
Manage your user account and your requests through the contact page.
Guarantee the security of transactions and the traceability of purchases.
Send you information about your purchases (invoices, order history).
Keep you informed about changes to the Site and its services.
Improve the user experience (traffic analysis, personalisation).
Send you commercial offers if you have consented to them.
Comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

Without certain information, it may be impossible to complete an order or to access certain features of the Site.

Who receives the data

Your data is processed by the in-house E-dkado team responsible for:

Managing orders and shipments.
Customer support.
Invoicing.

It may also be passed on to external providers strictly necessary for the proper running of the service, in particular:

Payment providers (PayPal, Crédit Agricole, Paybox).
Carriers (La Poste, Colissimo and others).
Accounting and tax services.
Technical providers (hosting provider, analytics tools such as Google Analytics).

All these partners are contractually bound to respect confidentiality and to process the data solely within the framework set by E-dkado.

Retention period

Data is kept for a limited period:

Up to 1 year after the last contact if no account has been created.
Up to 10 years for data relating to an order (legal obligation).
Browsing data: 6 months for analytics cookies and 13 months for other trackers.
Account data: kept for 10 years from the last invoice, even after the account has been deleted.

Beyond these periods, the data is anonymised for statistical purposes only.

Data security

The information is stored on secure servers located in France and hosted by ScalarX Limited. Technical measures (firewall, SSL encryption, antivirus) and organisational measures are in place to prevent any loss, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.

However, because of the risks inherent in the internet, absolute security cannot be guaranteed. It is therefore up to you to protect your login details and passwords.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have the following rights:

Access : obtain a copy of your data.
Rectification : correct inaccurate data.
Erasure : deletion of your data (excluding legal obligations, e.g. accounting).
Restriction : temporarily restrict a processing operation.
Objection : object to certain processing, in particular for commercial purposes.
Portability : receive your data in a structured format.
Withdrawal of consent : at any time, without retroactive effect.
